Divorce and/or custody disputes can be very difficult for the adults as well as the children involved. We spend the extra time necessary to explain each phase of the process to our clients in clear and simple terms so that they will understand what is happening and why. Our clients are given the opportunity to save money by participating in the process of gathering information and preparing discovery, to the extent they feel comfortable and/or capable under the circumstances. We promote settlement of issues where possible and appropriate, but aggressively assert our client’s rights and goals where necessary.
FROM THE ATTORNEY:
Having been through a divorce and custody battle myself some years ago, I am familiar with and appreciate the stress and pain that my clients go through. I don’t believe that my clients need a cheerleader, telling them what they want to hear, but are entitled to an objective assessment of their situation and a realistic appraisal of the best and worst case scenarios, such that they can make well reasoned and informed decisions. You should never walk away from the courthouse or your attorney’s office wondering what happened and/or having been told by your attorney that they can’t be responsible for the judge’s decision.
I provide my clients with my personal cellular telephone number so that I can be reached by them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Try asking another lawyer if you can have their personal cellular number and if you can call them on a Friday/Sunday evening if there is a child exchange dispute.
